The video game industry has always been on the front of new technologies, and in the last few years, gamers have seen dramatic improvements in graphic quality and game functionality. Developers continually strive to not only optimize the gaming experience, but devise new ways for gamers to play. Last year had the hugely successful introduction of the Eye Toy camera, and adding to the list of Eye Toy games this November is EyeToy: AntiGrav. Showcasing its use of some cool new technology, EyeToy: AntiGrav lets gamers immerse themselves into futuristic, hoverboard racing action by using hand and body motions to control their character, do tricks, grind on rails and whatever else it takes to score the top spots.
First timers, take a few minutes to run through the tutorial before jumping into a race to get used to the controls and how the game looks. It can be pretty wild hauling-ass through the fun, ultramodern race courses on a hyped-up hoverboard--complete with turbo drive--so it's best to know how to grind and switch rails, steer, jump, crouch and all the other necessary moves to score huge points and to stay in the top racing spots. Each of the game's eight characters comes equipped with the latest gear and technology tailored to their unique racing style.
When racing just doesn't suit, head on over to Style mode to show off combo moves and a little signature style while racking up major points to land in the winner's circle. In both Speed mode and Style mode, players will have the chance to unlock new skins, secret characters, upgraded equipment and hidden areas in each level. Like the previous EyeToy games, EyeToy: AntiGrav is a great party game, but it moves past that to be come a fun racing game that gamers will enjoy on their own after the party ends.
