ATV Offroad Fury 3 is here so get ready to tear it up with this awesome addition to the popular ATV Offroad franchise. The overall game "stats" are impressive: 38 huge environments, more than 40 tracks, over 100 different races and events, and the ability to go online to race up to six players. Added to the mix are the six different types terrains (snow, dirt, mud, ice, water, grass) and plenty of interactive obstacles that gamers will have to battle through to score big points and to stay at the head of the pack in order to win.
Gamers have plenty of options to choose from with the six game modes offered in ATV 3. Head over to Championships mode to earn trophies, new tracks, new ATVs and gear. This mode also offers new short-track, one-day events and Olympic championships for new ways to test out the racing skills. For fun, play some mini-games like king of the hill, tag, hockey, soccer, treasure hunt, or basketball. Mini-games are great to play solo, but hooking up with a friend for some multiplayer mini-game action is killer fun all around. Of course, multiplayer action (up to four with Multitap, six online) is also available in the racing modes both on and offline. Honestly, what's better than parking a friend into a wall or landing on them after a sweet, high-flying trick?
Updated online abilities give gamers more of what they want and will feature new scoreboards, intense racing action, and team players note that there is USB headset and keyboard support to talk to team mates or even to give the opposition some grief during the race. There are 24 ATVs available and players will get to do some customization of their ride by painting it and personalizing it, as well as, some minor tuning by changing tires and gear ratios.
Sony's ATV Offroad Fury 3 is crammed with all the important features gamers want--larger environments, more ATVs, more tracks, deeper online racing and game modes. ATV Offroad fans should run out to get it, and racing fans who've never played, jump right in to check it out.
