When Sly Cooper and the Theivius Raccoonus made its debut two years ago, it was a huge success with its gorgeous, cel-shaded environments, clever characters, and cool action-adventure platform style of gameplay. After all the rave reviews and reaching Greatest Hits status, the expectations were high for the next chapter in Sly Cooper's adventure book. Developers at Sucker Punch Productions stepped up to the challenge to deliver Sly 2: Band of Thieves , a fantastic follow-up that fans will devour. Sly 2 delivers across the board with a truly entertaining storyline, awesome, cel-shaded animation, and twice as much action and adventure as the previous game. For the latest adventure, it's going to take Sly, Bentley, and "The Murray" working together to bring down the infamous Klaww gang and stop Clockwerk from ever being reassembled.
Sly 2's very clever and entertaining storyline sends Sly, Bentley, and Murray around the world to battle and thieve their way to glory by defeating the five Klaww gang bosses. The plot of the story takes several unexpected twists which keeps the action moving and the pace of the game strong until the end. While Sly Cooper still has the most missions to accomplish, gamers will need the brainiac computer skills of Bentley to circumvent alarm systems and other crucial machinery, plus the super strength of "The Murray" to take out guards and move heavy objects to get the jobs done right. Sly also gets a few new moves, like crawling and pickpocketing enemies for cash and valuable trinkets. What to do with the new cash influx? Log on to "Thiefnet" a virtual blackmarket that allows gamers to sell the goods that Sly pickpockets, plus the ability to buy new gadgets, weapons or power ups. Each of the upgrades is truly useful and will be specialized to the character's skills and can be used through out the game even during boss battles.
No stone has been left unturned as Sly 2: Band of Thieves brings fans a bigger, better adventure that they won't want to put down. Gamers are in for a wild ride, as Sly 2 has players pickpocketing, computer hacking, and body slamming their way around the globe to go after and take down the Klaww gang and destroy Clockwerk once and for all.
