Midway's mission-based action game Narc lets gamers take on the roles of two DEA agents, good guy Marcus Hill, and his fresh out of rehab partner, Jack Fortenski on the hunt for a brand new drug taking over the streets, Liquid Soul. Playing as both Marcus and Jack lets players do a variety of missions that include tasks like busting perps and interrogating them (kicks to the head work well) to surviving frenzied gun battles with a blazing hailstorm of bullets to sniping guards on nearby buildings. Gamers have the choice to play it straight as a good cop, or talk a walk on the wild side in a "bad cop" role. The problem is there is really no fun in being the "bad cop"--all it does is kick gamers off the police force, and out of the game if gamers don't get "clean" in a certain amount of time. Gamers should rent this one first to see if it's worth their hard-earned cash.
