One thing in particular we love about Capcom is that they aren't afraid to take chances on new game concepts. With Flipnic, everything old is new again, and developers at Capcom take on the challenge of taking pinball not only into the 21st century, but somehow make it fun for console play. Thankfully, this is not the standard pinball gone digtal, because Flipnic takes pinball and turns it inside out. Once the ball is in play, the action starts amping up while gamers play in 3D environments, have zero-gravity shoot-outs, or play up to five balls in multi-ball action rounds. Another good aspect is the "board" constantly shifts into new areas or zones with the game camera tracking the ball while taking gamers for a 3D ride into the new sections.
Single players can choose to complete challenges in over 100 different missions to open up new areas and gain big point bonuses and jack pot prizes. For quicker games, single players should choose Free play which lets gamers do each stage separately have the challenge of beating best scores in two different modes. Multiplayer action is available for two players with head-to-head action in clever mini-games like Foosball Striker or Triple Paddle. Flipnic is a tripped-out pinball game that takes gamers on a wild ride that's worth the trip.
