A strong addition to the tuner car/racing genre is LA Rush, the updated classic from Midway that has gamers driving the very real looking streets of Los Angeles in some of the best, tricked-out rides on the Xbox or PS2. LA Rush is an arcade racer that combines over-the-top racing with a good, story driven plot. Gamers play as Trickz, a top LA Street racer who's had all of his cars stolen, and is out to get them all back, and deliver a little extra revenge. Midway stays true to LA by partnering with the famous crew from West Coast Customs to add their flavor to all the cars in the game. A range of vehicles from old school Hot Rods to sweet imports to trucks and SUVs let gamers indulge in their ultimate car fantasies. Rounding out the single-player story mode are the multiplayer and mini-game options for quick doses of fun or head-to-head competition. LA Rush gives gamers a fast-paced racing game that's worth checking out.
