Did you ever want to become a cool, calculating assassin that can kill on a whim without ever getting caught? If so, then this game is ready for hire. Hitman 2's story is of an ex-assassin for hire who attempts to distance himself from his violent past, but what kind of world would let an expert assassin retire? Just like Michael Jordan, he is brought back to his trade to find out why people want a piece of him. He is caught in the middle of a ring of deception, and soon discovers that he has been manipulated and is now a target himself.
Hitman 2 is full of features, including a choice of first- and third-person viewpoints, several weapons to utilize, open ended game play, and intricate levels to explore. Your hitman is armed with a massive arsenal of knives, handguns, sniper rifles, grenades, and various explosives. You can also use non-lethal weapons and pacifying gear such as chloroform, poison darts, and stun guns as well as laser-aiming devices. You have the option to be a silent assassin in the same vein as Metal Gear Solid 2, or you can run through the levels and go postal if you feel like it. The open-ended game play lets you think for yourself and complete levels in several different ways.
The graphics are smooth and exquisite. You can tell that the developers put a strong effort into making the game look good and play smoothly. Just like the silent killer, you are allowed to use your controls expertly to sneak around and pick off your enemies, one by one.
Imagine a cross between Metal Gear Solid 2 and a first-person game like Half Life. This game almost made me want to shave my head, don a mafia coat, and put a hit on the Super Street staff.

A long time ago, in a land far, far away, there was this boy that had a mysterious marking on his body. No, this is not Lord of the Rings and it is not a brief description of Jonny Wong. You are Lang, the hero swordboy of a town who has been blessed with the gift of a magical stone that gives an eternal supply of pure, mountain spring water to the town. Everything was nice until someone took the stone and forced little Lang to come forth with his merry band of friends to save the world.
Legaia 2-Duel Saga is a role-playing game (RPG) that lets you explore the world in the hope of gaining experience, gathering weapons and treasures, and ultimately completing the challenge. Legaia 2 is close-ended and linear, which means that you cannot completely control how the story evolves. You are basically guided into following a line to finish the game without making too many choices.
The backgrounds are rendered nicely but it can also get a little big and blocky. The faces look decent, but overall, I believe that the game could look better. Aside from the eye-candy part, the sounds and music are decent, but again, they get somewhat monotonous. The control is easy to learn and is fairly basic. For you non-RPG gamers out there, Legaia 2 may get a little boring, yet may be too simple for the experienced RPGer. The fighting system is innovative, but is not enough to carry the game on its shoulders.
Is this game fun? Yes, it is. The game is definitely not up to Final Fantasy standards, but you will still enjoy playing the game due to the simplicity and decent storyline. Legaia 2 may not make you become a hermit and lock the doors until you beat it, but it's worth a try.
