XBox Forza Motorsports Game Report - Joystick

The standout feature of the game definitely has to be the "live" ammo that Stranger picks up in his many surroundings. It's totally fun and at times hilarious to discover the clever ammo, but not as much fun as it is to use chippunks, fuzzles, thudslugs, or boombats in the heat of combat. Stranger's crossbow can be set up to combine ammo in a number of ways that bring in the outlaws dead or alive. Sometimes dead can't be helped, but bringing them back alive for double the cash is always worth the extra effort, especially since cash can buy weapons upgrades, which are just as hilarious but even more deadly.

When situations get heavy, a nice boombat or a hard smack from thugslug is cool, but firing off hundreds of bug stingers like an automatic rifle usually clears the way through determined packs of enemies. Fans of Oddworld don't need convincing to check out this latest chapter, but anyone not familiar with Oddworld but who loves a great action shooter definitely has to give this dynamic, innovative game at try.-LL
