Moroso 20910 Street/Strip/Road Race Oil Pan

The most well-rounded Honda B-Series oil pan on the market

I know it's been a long time. At this point you, as well as every friend imaginary and real alike, are doubting project Blackout will ever be complete. Patience, grasshoppa'. Patience. I can assure you that for every part installed on Blackout, I've done hours of research to back up my decision. Because we all know, cognitive dissonance is a bitch. And I don't like updating SuperStreetOnline.

When it came time to choose an oil pan for our 2000cc LS, we had more than a few options. Since our engine will be turbocharged courtesy of Full-Race, we wanted to increase oil capacity to help aid in pulling heat away from the reciprocating assembly. We also wanted to use a steel pan to help establish a perfect Tupperware seal. I've seen too many leaking aluminum oil pans, and I don't know about you, but I don't want to R&R an oil pan that has 19 bolts fastening it to the block. Lastly, and of paramount importance, the pan had to be baffled to keep the oil at the pickup, and not sloshing all over the place.

Scope out the ultimate B-Series oil pan: the Moroso 20910. It has everything we're looking for-and more. Yeah, it's not blinged out polished aluminum. But all that lightweight goodness is down low, below the roll center. Bottom line: you will not notice it.

This Moroso pan is one of the only aftermarket pans (Spoon) on the market that allows you to use the OEM Honda oil pan gasket. The raised indentations on the flange are also just like OEM, which allow the gasket to be centered perfectly. No need to purchase an additional pickup, since the pan is engineered to be used with the OE variety. We were pleased to find both a turbo oil drainback bung as well as a oil temp sensor bung welded on for good measure.

A pan that offers all this can be mission to find in stock off the shelf. Lucky for you and me, we have Summit Racing. One call, and 48 hours later, we had the pan. It's refreshing to see such a high level of customer service in our industry. Props to Summit for stocking this pan and sending it out so quickly.P/N: MOR-20910
