After lowering our project car with a set of Suspension Techniques springs in the previous installment, we did what any self-respecting performance fanatic would do: We added a body kit and a rear wing to emphasize the car's dropped stance. The kit, offered by Wings West, dramatically altered our Dodge's appearance. Even with the original rolling stock still in place, the Super Neon exhibited an entirely different attitude.
We watched, and shot photos, as Wings West's project coordinator extraordinaire Scott Centra and Vice President Eric Bunnell oversaw the amazing transformation at the company's facility in Newport Beach, California. While it took more than a few seconds and a phone booth, achieving the look of our Super Neon wasn't all that difficult.
Check out the next installment for the Super Neon's new wheel and tire combo, as well as an outrageous paint scheme.
