Project Mirage Gets Some Fancy New Front-Brake Rotors from Power Slot

Ohhh. Sweet!

This looks like just the ticket!

While the car is still on the ground (with the parking brake on!), loosen the lug nuts on

Support the car on jackstands, or utilize a lift if you’re a big moneybags cool guy.

Now for the serious stuff. It’s time to remove the two 17mm bolts that hold the calip

Grab onto the caliper and ease it from its perch on the brake rotor.

It may take some wiggling, but after a while, voila! It will come free.

Slide the old stinky brake rotor from its position on the brake hub. Do whatever it is pe

Take the shiny new Power Slot brake rotor out of its box, being sure to select the one mar

Take the time to replace the brake pads with new ones. Power Slot suggests high-performanc

Once the new pads are in place, slide the caliper onto the new rotor. Line up the holes on

Looks good, huh? This is what your new rotors should look like if they are properly instal

Repeat the process for the other side of the car. If everything checked out in the last st
Stop! Can’t stop? Front brakes not behaving the way they should? Then maybe it’s time to replace those stock rotors.
