Welcome to another edition of April fools. Not April fools as in, "Haha, April Fools, I got ya!" but as in, all the fools we put on blast in April.
For as long as Readers' Rides has been in Super Street, it boggles our minds how many people can't seem to get their submissions right. From emails inquiring, "where do I email my Readers' Rides to?" (to the address you just sent, jackass); to crappy, and I mean to-the-brim-of-a-Porta-Potty-crappy, pictures (please, beg, borrow or steal a digital camera-and for the fourteenth time, no, a cell phone doesn't count); to entries missing info (on any given month, there is a minimum of seven examples for you to follow-seven, damnit!); to email-clogging submissions with 23 images of your car at every possible angle (send up to three. We don't need to see pictures of your system-we're sure it's really cool but when's the last time you've seen an interior shot here. Hint: never). It's like our population needs to be hand-fed instructions. Very frustrating.
A good chunk of you do get it right, but you'd be surprised at some of the stuff we get-like these guys below. Some are wacky, others weird, but all of them make you wonder what compelled them to send there stuff in. So this month is dedicated to you special group of April fools. Thanks to your foolishness we all had a good laugh.
Carter's Ride of The Month this time around wins a set of springs from Racing Beat (www.racingbeat.com).
