For now I'm more interested on the exterior of the car and then will focus on what's under the hood. I was wondering if people could tell me what I would need to make my car like the one on the second link, I'm not trying to copy it completely because I also have my own vision of how I would like my car to look but that's the closest one to my goal that I found. Names of what's been added and price range would really be appreciated. Also I would really appreciate any tips on fixing up my soon to be car, thank you. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/3555150697.html http://px6.streetfire.net/0001/56/23/1006532_600.jpg

1996 Honda accord |

This 300zx is still running on the original VG30DETT motor, 67,xxx original kms, never seen snow and barely any rain, T-Tops, PW, PL, PS, HICAS, 15/40 Royal Purple synthetic one oil, K&N oil filter, 2+2, approx. 380-400whp Here are the list of mods bellow, enjoy: Serpentine belts all done at 50,000kms: - Power steering belt - Alternator belt - As well as a 126k timing belt kit Slight overhaul includes: - New intake plenum gasket - New half moon seals for each valve cover - New coolant hoses - New fuel lines - New air lines - New PCV lines - New PCV's - New knock sensor from Z1motorsports - New Throttle body gaskets - New IAA gaskets - New valve cover gaskets - New fuel filter Power Mods: - Dual Z1motorsports air filters - OEM MAFs - Relocated air intakes to underneath the headlights (With the front bumper that I have there is optimum air flow to the intakes. - Greddy 3 row front mounted intercooler - Custom one of a kind Veilside intercooler piping (Completely done by veilside, a lot of piping involved but is still not affecting my turbo lag or anything. (I am still unsure of what 'type' of sparco seat this is, If you know please comment on what they are bellow!) - Front/rear seats were wrapped in brown leather/suede along with various other interior panels - Upgraded white dome lights - New clutch and brake pedals So there you have it! The original 91' 300zx CI Combat Evolution Veilside demo car with some very tasteful Veilside custom mods done to it. Thank you for viewing my post! I've always been fascinated by cars, but have never had access to the hands on experience that I desire. I'm looking to spend around $50,000, but can go up to $75,000 (or more if needed). I don't really care much about the price, I'm just looking for something that will both be a good learning experience for someone new to the field, and something that will go fast. I'm not a racer, but I believe there will be a sense of satisfaction owning a car full of power, which I created. From what I've been researching, a Mark IV Supra seems to be a popular car. I've seen them going for around ~$15,000 - does anyone have any feedback on this?

Project for $50,000 - $75,000 |

I'm new to the import/tuner world. I've owned mostly muscle cars in the past, but I've always had a curiosity for imports. Last year I sold my '91 Mustang. Needed a family car haha. But now that we're settled and comfortable. I've decided it's time for a new toy and something different than what I'm used too. An import. I don't plan to dump tons of money into it right away. This is a project I plan to take my time with and just have fun with it. I want something that's easy to modify, looks nice, and wont cost me and arm and a leg. So my question is, what should I get? I'm looking to keep the price of the car under $5,000. I've read that Eclipses, Supra's, and Mazda's are fairly easy to modify. As well as Honda's, but I see to many of them around. Any suggestion's would be greatly appreciated. Please list make, model, and year so I know exactly what I should be looking for. Thanks a ton I'm really excited about this. :D

Where should I start? |

This being a major upgrade from my 1993 Mazda 626, I have been pushing this car to it's limit... and then some. I just burned out my clutch at only 61k miles (1k past the warranty). This made me realize that I have no idea how to properly take care of such an expensive vehicle. It seems like everyone can own such vehicles and race them both on the streets and occasionally on track without major problems. I really love my car and love to be able to have a little fun in it but I've learned that there is a price to pay for too much fun. I am looking for some tips to taking care of my car while still getting the best performance ie: proper shifting, "peeling out" etc... without causing serious damage. It seems like when ever I would race someone or just accelerate hard I would smell what smelled like burning brakes which I now know was clutch material.

Any tips for taking care of my vehicle while still having fun? |
