Im looking to build a track/street style car. New to the whole tuning/import scene. Worked with big angry v8s but looking to do something different. Any suggestions on a good rwd or awd platform would be appreciated. I was looking into stuff like z32 300zx tt or a 3000gt vr4. Doesnt need to be real fast out of the box but a good builder with good potential. Im open to anyting.

Hey Guys, so I live in Australia and i recently bought my first car. 1997 Honda Civc Coupe VTI (Auto). I need some getting information on what i should do, and where i should get the stuff from, cheap and in Australia. I would like to up the standard of the performance. I do not want to put a body kit on or anything, i just want to make the insides and interior *** awesome.It has to be a road car specs as well, so i do not want to strip the interior. I am willing to spend around 3-4 thousand on the car over a period of time. Any suggestions guys? :grin:

I went for an oil change for my 2012 Nissan Sentra and they advised me I need to get my EFI and Throttle Body serviced. They want approximately $300 to have it done. I have no idea what it is and if it even needs it. I purchased the car June of 2012, not even a year. Does this seem right to anyone? If so, is that the going rate? I feel like they are trying to take me for a ride!

I love it and love cars and love everything about it... It's a pretty flashy high profile car... It's grabber blue with a roush flat black strip on the hood with side stripes... Hey I'm kind of new to all this fixing up cars to make them of JDM material but I'm getting a 1996 Honda accord(on the first link) and I kind of want to fix up the exterior if possible to look like the one on the last link. Hello everyone. So I thought I'd introduce my car to Super Street forums. My ride is a 1991 300zx TT that is believe it or not Veilside's original demo CI Combat Evolution 300zx for the 90s. This 300zx came with a very light Veilside set up which is still all original! I live a stressful life and I need to take some time away from everything. I've always been fascinated by cars, but have never had access to the hands on experience that I desire. I'm looking to spend around $50,000, but can go up to $75,000 (or more if needed). I don't really care much about the price, I'm just looking for something that will both be a good learning experience for someone new to the field, and something that will go fast. I'm not a racer, but I believe there will be a sense of satisfaction owning a car full of power, which I created. From what I've been researching, a Mark IV Supra seems to be a popular car. I've seen them going for around ~$15,000 - does anyone have any feedback on this?

I honestly go for the Rx7 if you are interested in building a freaken amazing race car with looks and the name. Of cause the s2000 is also an amazing car, but there are more s2000 than rx7. The rx7 just makes you more special. But know that the rotary engine is not as reliable as the f20c honda engine.

Hello everyone. I'm new to the import/tuner world. I've owned mostly muscle cars in the past, but I've always had a curiosity for imports. Last year I sold my '91 Mustang. Needed a family car haha. But now that we're settled and comfortable. I've decided it's time for a new toy and something different than what I'm used too. An import. I don't plan to dump tons of money into it right away. This is a project I plan to take my time with and just have fun with it. I want something that's easy to modify, looks nice, and wont cost me and arm and a leg. So my question is, what should I get? I'm looking to keep the price of the car under $5,000. I've read that Eclipses, Supra's, and Mazda's are fairly easy to modify. As well as Honda's, but I see to many of them around. Any suggestion's would be greatly appreciated. Please list make, model, and year so I know exactly what I should be looking for. Thanks a ton I'm really excited about this. :D

Hi I have a 92 Honda civic with the b16a engine ,I have 2 problems. When I raised the front wheels off the ground and put it in drive ,one wheel doesn't turn as fast as the other and I was able to stop the wheel with my foot.left front wheel. I thought both wheels would be driven with engine? My second hassle is my brake lights won't turn off ? I've checked each wheel ,the rear wheels are drum brakes. My brakes all work fine ,all wheels move freely ,any ideas were to check? Thanks for any help , Greg in New Zealand .

I purchased my 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX Limited about two months ago with only 55k miles. This being a major upgrade from my 1993 Mazda 626, I have been pushing this car to it's limit... and then some. I just burned out my clutch at only 61k miles (1k past the warranty). This made me realize that I have no idea how to properly take care of such an expensive vehicle. It seems like everyone can own such vehicles and race them both on the streets and occasionally on track without major problems. I really love my car and love to be able to have a little fun in it but I've learned that there is a price to pay for too much fun. I am looking for some tips to taking care of my car while still getting the best performance ie: proper shifting, "peeling out" etc... without causing serious damage. It seems like when ever I would race someone or just accelerate hard I would smell what smelled like burning brakes which I now know was clutch material.
