The Optima Faceoff at the Hot Rod Power Tour will take place at the conclusion of the Power Tour on June 9, 2012 in Arlington, Texas. The Optima Faceoff at Road America is scheduled for June 22-24, 2012 in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. More than 50 participants are expected to attend and each entry will receive two free tickets to the NASCAR Nationwide Series/GRAND-AM Rolex Series taking place at Road America the same weekend on Saturday, June 23. Optima will also be selecting 15 vehicles to participate in the 2012 Sandhills Open Road Challenge August 8-12, 2012, in Arnold, Nebraska, which includes a 55-mile open road race and a one-mile shootout. Optima is paying the entry fee for these 15 entrants, but they can't pick you if they don't see you and the Faceoff events at Power Tour and Road America are great places to be seen. The “Spirit of the Event” winners from these Faceoff events will join previous Run to the Alamo qualifiers Greg Davidson (2010 Chevrolet Camaro) and Karl Dunn (2007 Ford Mustang), and Run to the Coast qualifier Dale Akuszewski (1964 Sunbeam Tiger) in their quest to be named the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car at the fifth annual OPTIMA Invitational, Saturday, November 3, 2012. i own a 1998 eclipse rs 5 sp with a blown head gasket and rusted trunk. i dont have the time to fix it. i was offered 2 trade. one is a 2000 dodge neon with a cold air intake and aftermarket exhaust. i dont know the brands. it has 130000 miles. no mechanical issues. the one offer was a 1997 hyundai elantra. it has a bodykit aftermarket exhaust and possibly aftermarket headers. both trades are car for car no cash involved. i want to know what is the better car to get to upgrade? i do have pics of both trades as well as mine if anyone is interested. my car is also for sale or trade if anyone has a better offer. please email me. eyeofthedragon1988@yahoo.com

There was one incident where original carbon fiber bumper was replaced and headlight was replaced. I informed the insurance to play it safe. ZERO FRAME DAMAGE no mechanical issues, I'm just giving full disclosure. I own a bodyshop here on west texas and nothing gives me a more satisfying feeling than having a kid with a weird shaped Honda come to me and say "how much for a paint job?" after I tell him the actual price of the paint (seriously I call the paint supplier and hand over the phone)and tell him the labor hours, I get the best part of the conversation "How bout if I do it myself?!" LOL so instead of getting a kick of such encounters every other week I'd rather just spread the desease of learning and hope my encounters are less often as you talk about it amongst yourselves. Ask me any question you'd like on painting a car or what you would like to accomplish and I'd try my best to dissuade or guide you in the right direction. It's better than me laughing it up every other week... some quick tips 1st) you won't be able to do a candy period... I can tell you, but you will fail 2nd) Duplicolor does not work don't even try it.... if you're gonna paint your car get car paint 4th) Don't act lost at the paint supply store and you won't leave the place poor 5rd) yes a those $9 hvlp paint guns from harbor freight do work... 6th) you can paint your car for under 300 dollars and still look as good as factory... don't believe me *** you that's how you know I'm telling the truth :grin:

so i've been looking and looking all over the web and cant find a solid answer, all those lights do not work i have checked all the fuses swapped out relays and even swapped that little white box (by the fuse box) and nothing have no idea what the problem is. if it matters its a 89 240sx with a DE swap. :confused:
