10. According to Eddie Kim at Peak, "The oil-filled rubber bushing in the factory tension rod is known to burst and cause all types of unwanted and unexpected toe changes." This particular piece is made of T-6061 hard anodized aluminum that eliminates the weight and maintains accuracy required under race conditions, giving you quicker steering response and greater feedback from your steering wheel.

11. Disconnect the factory tension rod by loosening the bolts that connect it to the subframe and lower control arm. Assemble the Peak tension rod but leave it unadjusted until you've finished installing it.

12. Peak believes the most unique feature of its tension rod is the amount of adjustment. You can shorten them to increase caster, which decreases steering angle. Or you can increase the length of the tension rod, which will decrease caster and allow for maximum steering angle-perfect if you're drifting.

13. Previously I ran with a set of 17x7.5 and 17x8 Rays Gram Lights 57Pro, a two-piece cast wheel with a decent lip on the rear. I chose Toyo Proxes TS-1 in sizes 225/45R17 (f) and 225/40R17 (r), but they were a bit beefy. Switching to 18x7.5 and 18x9 Volk Racing GTUs, I special ordered them in a custom gunmetal black center with a polished outer lip and red inner lip, which matches the Porsche red paint perfectly. Eddie Lee at Mackin Industries also set me up with the perfect offset.
