Of all the pros of having a manual transmission-launch at any RPM, heel-toeing, gear selection, not having to reek of estrogen-one definite con is changing your clutch. FR's aren't bad but we're not going to lie, a clutch job in a FF is a bitch, and then some. While we were going to cop out and show you a 240SX clutch install, the masters of all things clutch, Clutch Masters, suggested doing a Honda instead. Follow along as we trick Stephen from Nissan tuning masters, G-Dimension, into performing a clutch swap in a '97 Honda Accord.

    1. Remove the battery, battery tray, wheels (fronts only, unless you need a workout), intake, and the 36mm axle nut in the picture.

    2. Loosen the 17mm nut and bolt off the bottom of the strut. You'll need a wrench/ratchet with a strong enough grip to hold the nut in place.

    5. Unbolt the cross and support bars and remove.

    6. Remove the cotter pin and 17mm bolt. Next, we recommend using a ball-joint remover tool to take out the tension rod then pull the assembly out and to the side. Do this for both axles.

    7. Take off the 17mm nut located on the front of the tension rod.

    10. Use a crowbar and hammer to slide the axles out of the transmission.
