Suspension Tech Loosen The Two 10Mm Nuts Holding The Brake Lines
Loosen the two 10mm nuts holding the brake lines to the master cylinder. Then loosen the two 12mm nuts securing the cylinder to the brake booster. Make sure to bench bleed the new master cylinder before installing it. TIP: Always use flare wrenches on hard lines. They grip 5 corners, oppose to a regular open-end wrench gripping 2 corners. Replacing those nuts can be a royal PITA. Now it's time to bleed, bleed, bleed the brakes.
