HKS Civic Si Exhaust Upgrade

The HKS commitment to quality is responsible for the fierce loyalty of HKS customers worldwide. While the Honda performance marketplace is rapidly filling with more and more companies, few benefit from the immense technical resources held by HKS.

While some of the systems used on Japanese-spec vehicles work perfectly without modification for the U.S. market, others do not. HKS USA in Long Beach, California, redesigns and tests the majority of the Japanese prototype pieces to ensure maximum performance and trouble-free use in the U.S. market in its in-house R&D facility. HKS is involved in a wide array of racing activities using off-the-shelf HKS exhaust components. Believe it or not, the exhausts on many of its drag, road race, rally, and top-speed cars use the same HKS exhausts you can put into your daily-driver.

We recently visited Neuspeed in Camarillo, California, for a preview of HKS’ latest performance exhaust system for the Honda Civic Si. The HKS Super Drager muffler system utilizes 50mm stainless steel tubing that is mandrel-bent for low restriction. The heart of this performance exhaust system is a straight-through design, high-flow polished stainless steel HKS muffler. Crowning the Civic Si exhaust system is a 120mm tip complete with HKS “Super Drager” laser etching.

Follow along as we watch as the Neuspeed folks install an HKS system on an Si.
