If your 240SX has air conditioning, you’ll have to disconnect the pressurized refrigerant lines from the AC compressor. You might want a professional shop to do this beforehand--it’s against the law to release ozone-depleting R-12 AC refrigerant directly into the atmosphere. Remove the alternator electrical harness.
