Tires are expensive, especially when it comes to the big 18-inchers. Generally, the bigger and wider the tire is, the better handling you can achieve from the car. Unfortunately, when people lower their cars, they don’t think about alignment, which also plays a big role in handling. Even worse, when the alignment isn’t set right, your tires will wear out very quickly. If you have deep pockets and want to shell out a few hundred bucks every couple of months for new tires, that’s cool. But we’re poor and can’t afford to do that.

There are a few ingredients that make up the whole alignment buffet. By knowing the effect each one has on your car, you’ll know what you’re paying for when you have your alignment done.
