This is where Tony Santos and his crew from Auto F/X come in with this monster. Their ’97 Supra has been outfitted with a host of high-tech electronics and enough power to run Los Angeles for a month. Up front is a Pioneer AVX-P7300DVD in-dash DVD/CD/VCD player with a 7-inch active-matrix LCD screen. Winding their way down from the custom dash mountings, the signals find a home in the AVM-P8000R crossover/Dolby and signal splitter, where video signals are rerouted to two more LCD screens. One 6.5-inch screen is integrated into the passenger-side dash, while the other screen is mounted on the rollcage facing rearward for showgoers to drool over.

From there, the audio signal wanders to the rear of the car, where it meets up with Hans, Franz, and Arnold of the audio world—three Memphis class-D amplifiers pump up the volume to the tune of a total of 3,800 watts. Two of the amps provide 400 watts each to the front and rear speakers. The front consists of a pair of Memphis 6.5-inch component sets. Bringing up the rear is a pair of Memphis 6.5-inch coaxials. The third amp tosses out 3,000 watts of power to the sickest 12-inch woofer you have ever seen. Memphis specially constructed the dual-basket, dual-spider Loud Volume Subwoofer (LVS) for the competition- minded bass connoisseur, and it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. Even if you can’t see this bright-yellow Supra at a show, you’ll at least be able to hear it when it drops.
