Install a Quick-Release Steering Wheel
We installed Tekniq AutoSports snap-off kit on a car that already had an aftermarket steering wheel; refer to a Helms manual for instructions on removing your stock wheel. Disconnect the battery and remove the horn button to gain access to the steering-hub bolt. You can either use a socket wrench or a wheel lug-nut crossbar to loosen this bolt. Once you have removed the bolt, pull the steering wheel off the steering column. Make a note of how your steering wheel is aligned, as you will need to place it in the correct position during reassembly; otherwise, itll be crooked. View Related Article
